Information we use
Account sign-in identifiers, profile and alarm information support your account and app features. Supabase provides account services. We keep service records such as request IDs, operation type, dates, processing status and usage counts to operate features, enforce monthly limits, prevent duplicate work, monitor provider spending and retry cleanup. We do not put dream text or audio in billing records.
Your saved dream text, check-ins, artwork and reflections are stored on your phone. Saved voice recordings remain locally until transcription is safely saved and cleanup succeeds, or you delete them. Dream processing sends the information described below to providers.
How processing works
Voice transcription: your recordings are sent to a speech-processing service to turn them into text. Permission is required to use Somnoria. The service temporarily stores audio and transcripts; we request deletion after the text is safely saved on your phone. Outages can delay cleanup.
Dream insights and Patterns: after you save a dream, the app automatically sends its text and relevant check-in information to automated processing services for insights, image-prompt generation and pattern features. The services process requests through providers that may route internationally. Provider security monitoring and temporary retention may apply.
Artwork: the app automatically sends a generated prompt based on the saved dream to an image provider. Generated images are returned to your device and saved with your dream. The provider may temporarily retain request data for security or service operation.
Processing may take place outside your country. We use settings designed to limit storage and request deletion when processing is complete. Temporary processing and security-related retention may still apply.
Storage and deletion
Saved dreams stay on your phone until you remove them, erase the account or uninstall the app. Keep a manual backup if you want a separate copy. Device protection and optional dream lock help restrict access; they are not a guarantee against every form of access or device compromise.
Basic processing records support cleanup and recovery. Completed cleanup records are removed after 24 hours; account deletion also removes associated references. Processing-operation telemetry is retained for up to 90 days. Subscription allowance records are kept for the current month and two previous months. Infrastructure logs and provider retention are separate from local dream storage.
Account deletion does not remove exported backups, content you shared or copies held independently by recipients. Read the deletion guide.
Your choices and requests
You must allow voice transcription before using Somnoria. Pending recordings are transcribed automatically while the app is connected, open and unlocked. Saved dream text is processed for insights, artwork and Patterns. Privacy & Data provides dream lock, backup, restore and links to this notice. You can stop using the app and request account deletion.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, obtain a portable copy, withdraw permission, or raise a complaint with your data-protection authority. Email the contact above to make a request. Identity checks may be necessary to protect your account.
Subscriptions and usage
If you buy Somnoria Plus, RevenueCat and Apple process your app account identifier (a Supabase account UUID), product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal or expiry dates, storefront and billing environment. We use these records to confirm paid access, restore or transfer a purchase to the signed-in account, and apply the monthly dream analysis allowance. Apple handles payment details; Somnoria does not receive your full payment card number.
The app records processing-operation counts and service costs to apply monthly allowances, prevent duplicate processing and stop dispatch when configured spending limits are reached. These operational records can include model names, request counts, dates and conservative booked-cost estimates. They do not include dream text, transcripts, artwork, payment-card details or full receipt bodies. Usage records are kept for the current month and the previous two months; operation telemetry is retained for 90 days, processed event IDs for 30 days, and owner support audit records for one year. Some pseudonymous purchase-chain and usage records may remain after account deletion to prevent duplicate restore allowances.
Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in Apple Account settings. Previously exported backups and copies shared outside the app are not erased by account deletion.
This website
This informational website has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact form or dream upload. You can email us using the contact links. The hosting service processes network requests and may use security or access-related technical data to serve and protect the site.
We will update this notice when the service or its handling of information changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
