What stays on your phone
Your saved dream text, check-ins, artwork and reflections are stored in protected storage on your phone. Recordings are saved locally first. Dream lock uses your phone’s authentication. Account services, alarm settings, processing-operation counts and subscription access records also use service providers; your saved dreams are not automatically synced between devices.
Your account, profile and alarm information also use a service provider. “On your phone” describes your saved dreams, not every part of the service.
What is sent for processing
Voice → text
Your recordings are securely sent to a speech-processing service to turn them into text. The service temporarily stores audio and transcripts; we request deletion after the text is safely saved on your phone.
Dream insights
An automated analysis service receives saved dream text and relevant check-in answers.
Dream artwork
Automated services help turn dream text into an image prompt and create artwork from it.
Voice transcription permission is required to use Somnoria. Pending recordings are transcribed when the app is connected, open and unlocked. Saved dream text is processed for insights, artwork and Patterns. Providers may process information outside your country and temporarily retain it for service operation or security monitoring.
Keep a copy
Open Profile → Privacy & Data → Back up dreams and save the file somewhere private, such as Files or a cloud-drive destination you control. Stop active recording before exporting. Pending recordings are included in the backup.
Backup files are readable copies containing saved dream text and artwork. Keep them private. To restore, choose Restore backup and select your saved file. Existing entries are preserved. Backups from earlier versions remain supported.
Subscriptions and dream limits
Free accounts can analyze up to 7 saved dreams per calendar month. Somnoria Plus provides up to 30 recorded dreams with analysis each calendar month. You can record or write a dream and keep it on your phone. Allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month and do not roll over. When you reach the limit, your dream remains saved and analysis waits until allowance is available.
Apple and RevenueCat process account-linked subscription identifiers and status so the app can verify, renew, restore or transfer Plus access. Usage records and limited service-cost counters enforce quotas and spending controls. Account deletion does not cancel Apple billing; cancel separately through Apple. A restore may transfer paid access to the signed-in Somnoria account but does not move saved dreams or gifts.
For account deletion, the app removes local saved dreams and account-owned service records and requests provider cleanup. Minimal pseudonymous purchase and usage records may remain to prevent duplicate allowances after a purchase is restored. Previously exported backups and content shared with others must be deleted separately.
Delete or ask for help
You can remove entries and pending recordings in the app. Account deletion is available from Profile. It coordinates provider cleanup, erasure of saved dreams and removal of your account. If interrupted, reopen the app and retry.
Previously exported backups and copies you shared are outside account deletion. Remove those separately from the places you saved them.
For a privacy request, deletion help or a question about your information, email support@somnoria.ai. Please do not send passwords or dream contents. We may need to verify account ownership before acting.
